MITM Panama Summit – Meetings & Culture Travel Market – kicks off with a fabulous welcoming reception in the recently inaugurated hotel Gran Evenia Panamá. The tradeshow will take place in the hotel Las Américas Golden Tower Panamá.
MITM Panama Summit is geared towards international, high-standing MICE y Cultural Tourism, and to that purpose, will reunite f 30 directors and executives with high business potential from a pool of more than 200 registered companies from 31 countries, specialized in: incentives, events & congresses, international associations, corporate companies, tour operators, and luxury agencies.
The 80 participants assisting in the tradeshow will have the opportunity to establish commercial alliances during the two intense work days. Around 1000 business meetings will take place, complemented by the exceptional networking program, generating an estimated medium and long term economic impact of more than 200 million dollars.

The welcoming reception counted with the participation of Ivan Eskildsen, Panama´s Minister of Tourism, Dña. Eugenia Powell, Associate Director of Sales and Services of PROMTUR, D. For her part, Ms. Eugenia Powell, from PROMTUR Panama, thanked those present for attending this edition of MITM Panama and assured them that they will have the opportunity to show them all the facilities and the wide range that Panama has for meetings and group tourism.

His excellency Mr. Iván Eskildsen, Minister of Tourism of Panama, made a brief historical overview of the isthmian country with details that alone explain the reasons that have made Panama one of the favorite destinations for any type of tourism, but specifically for holding meetings and events. He also thanked the recognition and trust placed once again by MITM Events in Panama as a destination.
The closing dinner will take place the 20th of October in one of the most iconic MICE hotels of the city, El Panamá by Faranda Grand, member of Radisson Individuals. This reception has the support and participation of Mr. Fernando Fondevila, CEO of PROMTUR, Mr. Jaime Campuzano, General Manager of El Panamá by Faranda Grand and Ms. Kenelma Mendoza, president of the APPCE.
