Lots of very important comments from different local and regional government offices regarding opportunities between both economies with special focus on Andalusia Province.
Attendees heard presentations from representatives from ProMálaga, the British Embassy in Madrid and Invest in Andalucía, as well as a Roundtable with the opportunity to hear from the perspectives of British companies who are currently active in the region, including DeCotta Law, Savills, and UHY Fay & Co., At the end the institutional closure by the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, who invited potential investor to consider Malaga and its buzzing new sectors.
In summary, investment is booming with more companies investing in Spain even with the challenges of Brexit and post COVID financial challenges in world markets. It was also emphazised that there are government actions to streamline paperwork and processes to help investors implement their plans in easily. Still a work in progress but a positive trend.
